Malilangwe Dangerous Drugs Course

About The Course

Every February, Malilangwe hosts the Dangerous Drugs Course run by our friends at the Wildlife Capture School. This course is instructed by some of the most experienced wildlife veterinarians in Africa and provides practical, hands-on training in the safe, effective, and ethical use of chemical and physical restraint in capture, management, and veterinary care of wild animals.

Over the years, the Dangerous Drugs Course has instructed hundreds of wildlife veterinarians, conservation professionals, wildlife researchers, welfare specialists and academics from all corners of the globe.

The Course comprises an equal combination of theoretical and practical hands-on instruction and is accredited for training of Dangerous Drugs Licensees in Zimbabwe, as well as for the purposes of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) with the National Veterinary Councils in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Namibia.
