Tom Ball

Head of Security

“The Malilangwe Scouts are one family……..Integrity, Respect, Courage, Discipline and Cheerfulness these are all the qualities that we find in a Malilangwe Scout.”

Tom was educated in Zimbabwe and grew up on the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve. After a year at Quest Africa in 2013, Tom left his Zimbabwean home to join the Royal Marines in the United Kingdom. The experience he gained whilst serving for over 8 years in several different theatres, afforded him the opportunity to return home and take on the role of Security Manager.

Tom’s primary role is to ensure the protection of the reserve’s wildlife and assets, and to corroborate with the Malilangwe Scouts to be prepared for every eventuality.
