Shepherd Mawire

Community Projects Officer

“As a self-motivated, family-oriented person with a good sense of humour, I have a great understanding of interpersonal skills, which I convert into building strong teams.”

Shepherd’s background in adventure training and team building add value to his role as a Community Projects Co-ordinator. His drive, keen sense of humour and interpersonal skills are the right recipe to capacitate the people who live in our neighbouring communities. His energy is shared with the communities, which encourages them to be driven and more self-reliable on the projects that are implemented.

Shepherd’s passion is in the work he does within our Conservation Education Camps, where he instils important life skills, morals and a keen understanding for the natural world. He takes pride in watching young lives being totally transformed by this course and encourages the young students to continue with their education and seek gainful employment after completing school.
