Shelley Warth

Projects & Communications; Executive Operations Support

“I live with a deep sense that my life is part of something larger — as a poet at heart, I feel profoundly connected to the natural world and its intricacies, and I care deeply about people being able to live purposeful, happy lives.”

Shelley grew up with a fond appreciation for Zimbabwe’s rich landscapes and biodiversity, and she finds herself at ease in the bush among the wild places that first shaped her perspective. Her career in tourism and hospitality allowed her to live and work across some of Zimbabwe’s most remarkable natural environments, strengthening both her practical experience and her commitment to conservation.

Shelley joined Malilangwe in 2007, initially working within its tourism operations before transitioning into an administrative role in 2013. Over the years, she has developed broad institutional knowledge and a detailed understanding of the Trust’s operations. In her support role to the Executive Director and senior management, Shelley plays a central role in the day‑to‑day coordination of operations. She provides continuity across logistics, communications, and project coordination, helping to ensure that Malilangwe’s work is carried out with care, clarity and purpose.
