Shadreck Chiturumani

Environmental Health Technician

“I am grateful that the Malilangwe family plays a part in being a solution to environmental issues. It makes life worthwhile to live in a tidy environment next to our flora and fauna.”

Shadreck has been an employee of Malilangwe since 1994. His attentiveness to occupational health and safety and environmental well-being allowed Shadreck to study from 2012 to 2015 for a National Diploma in Environmental Health at Masvingo Polytechnic under Malilangwe’s sponsorship. Shadreck has practiced as Malilangwe’s Environmental Health Technician since 2016. His responsibilities include the co-ordination of and participation in all environmental health activities including vector control, health and hygiene education, mobilisation of various health care services, infectious and communicable diseases investigations and the control thereof, inspections of all living and working areas on Malilangwe and water quality monitoring.
