Brad Fouche

Head Guide

“I love adventure trips that happen on the spur of the moment. I love exploring new places on foot and at Malilangwe I do this in the hope of finding new rock art sites. When you are on foot, you have a real feel of being a part of your surroundings.”

Brad started his guiding career in Kariba in January 1993. He guided for several reputable safari companies throughout Zimbabwe until 1999 when he took a year off to travel abroad. Upon his return, he managed a wildlife ranch before moving to Malilangwe in 2007. Brad became Head Guide in May 2008.

Brad enjoys the diversity of Malilangwe with its different biomes and wildlife, and he says it is impossible to get bored in a place which has a bit of each region of Zimbabwe’s fauna and flora all in one place. Brad loves spending time with his favourite animals, elephants and considers the black rhino being a close second.
