In his 20+ years career with the World Bank, Constantine held various operational, management and strategy roles within the World Bank Group delivering development solutions for client countries through analytical work, high level policy dialogue with governments and advising the World Bank Board internally on corporate strategy and forward-looking initiatives. He oversaw a threefold growth of the Bank’s investment portfolio in Southeast Asia and a 40 percent improvement in its performance as Chair of committees that shaped the Bank’s operational strategy and investment portfolios in Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Constantine was based in Westminster, London leading teams that advised Commonwealth governments on globally competitive fiscal and legal frameworks for foreign investment in oil, mining and gas sectors. Prior to that he worked as a new business development executive for a global mining company.
Constantine is a lawyer, a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of INSEAD Business School.
Constantine joined the Malilangwe Board of Trustees in June 2021. He serves on various Boards including Strand Hanson Investment Bank (UK), Mauritius Commercial Bank Group and in 2023, Constatine was appointed Chairman of African Sun Hotel Group.
